North Manchester, IN – On Tuesday, May 18th Peabody Retirement Community, in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana, will conduct a free seminar entitled “Promises, Promises – a family program for caregivers of Alzheimer’s disease.” The seminar will be offered in Peabody’s Enrichment Center at 5:30pm.
According to Laura Markham, Peabody Service Line Director for Memory Care, “Many promises are made to our family members who experience Alzheimer’s disease.” Laura continued, “Some of these numerous promises can be as basic as we’ll never sell the family home or you’ll never have to enter a nursing home. Conditions change, which can create a need to change from these promises.”
Speaking at this program will be Melissa L. Barile, M.S., and Regional Director of the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana.
Pre-register attendance is required by calling 260.982.0737.
