Giving

Mission Statement - "We provide comprehensive service for older adults and selected services to others with grace, compassion, and respect for the dignity of individuals, their families, and the communities we serve in the name of Jesus Christ."

A Living Legacy - The Estelle Peabody Memorial Home was founded in 1931 through the collaboration of the Presbyterian Church* and a North Manchester family. The founders created a beautiful haven for older adults, adding nursing care, retirement cottages and other amenities to meet community needs through the years.   Peabody 's Christian mission of service continues to inspire our staff as they help those of all faiths create a caring home together.

The Peabody Home Foundation - The Foundation was formed in 1986 and expanded in 2000 to provide benevolent services to residents whose financial means could no longer cover the entire cost of their care. Please consider today making a donation or volunteering to help us achieve our Christian mission.

About Giving - For over seven decades, individuals, churches, and businesses have given of their time, talent and treasure to support the Peabody legacy of service to our seniors. We are grateful to the thousands who have come before us as committed financial supporters, volunteers, and dedicated staff. It is because of these special people that Peabody continues to demonstrate our uncompromising respect of the dignity and worth of each individual. You have a wonderful opportunity to carry on the tradition of generosity and "making a difference" to the residents of Peabody Retirement Community.
