Peabody to Offer Residents and Guests a
Variety of Interesting and Fun Speakers and Events-Including Olympic gold Medal Recipient

North Manchester, IN – During the month of February Peabody Retirement Community will offer a variety of Interesting and fun speakers and events.
According to Lucy McKinley, Peabody Recreation Coordinator, the following free events are scheduled:
• Winter Olympics – Join us as we celebrate and view the Friday, February 12th to Sunday, February 28th Winter Olympics from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on our large screen television. In addition, on Thursday, February 11th at 10 a.m. in the Enrichment Center Peabody will feature 1956 Olympic gold medal winner in the long jump. Gregory Bell, D.D.S., of Logansport, IN. Light refreshments will be served.
• Elvis will enter the building – An Elvis impersonator will appear at Peabody’s Enrichment Center on Friday, February 12th at 3 p.m. Will it be the young or the older Elvis? Come visit us. Sorry, no peanut butter and banana sandwiches will be served.
• Valentine’s Party – Love will be in the air on Tuesday, February 16th at 2 p.m. when Peabody hosts a Valentine’s party. Diane Devereaux will present “A Romantic Afternoon with Jeannette MacDonald” – a tribute to Ms. MacDonald’s music and songs. Light refreshments will be served.
